8-23-12: Courtesy of WIVB. Mosquitoes can be a pesky problem for all of us at this time of year, but now they pose a dangerous health risk. The Department of Health confirms to News 4 that an Erie County man was infected with the potentially deadly disease. Fortunately the person who was infected was treated at a hospital, and is at home right now recovering. Health officials warn the community needs to take precautions because mosquitoes infected with the neurological virus are out there, looking for people to bite.
