Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz says now is the time to stop medical professionals from abusing and wasting Medicaid. He says the that’s why he began a new Medicaid Anti-Fraud Task Force. Poloncarz announced that a Medicaid Anti-Fraud Task Force is being created to help save taxpayers money. The task force will audit Medicaid claims to pinpoint which medical providers are wasting and abusing Medicaid by over billing or billing for services they didn’t provide
