1-3-12: Courtesy of WIVB. County Executive Mark Poloncarz didn’t waste anytime getting to work, Tuesday. Three days after being sworn in, he signed five new executive orders. One of the executive orders requires the Erie County attorney to begin the process of seeking outside counsel for the upcoming lease negotiations with the Buffalo Bills. Another order requires every employee to abide by swipe card system. This would include deputy county executive, commissioners, and other exempt employees. There is also an order on creating a Medicaid anti-fraud tax force.
