With the election four weeks away, Chris Collins and Mark Poloncarz faced off Thursday night for the future of Erie County, and the gloves are clearly off in the race for Erie County Executive. These two have been at each other’s throats for years while holding their elected positions. But Thursday night marks the first time that the County Executive had to square off against the county’s top fiscal watchdog on a formal debate stage.
