ERIE COUNTY, NY — Broadcasting legend Dan “Danny” Neaverth Sr. has joined the thousands of Erie County voters who are supporting Mark Poloncarz for Erie County Executive. Neaverth has lent his famous voice to the campaign, recording the voiceover for Poloncarz’s commercial, which hit the airwaves today.
“I support Mark’s message of job creation and fiscal responsibility,” Neaverth said. “He is the right man to represent the people of Erie County and I am confident that on November 8, the voters will come out to elect him their next County Executive.”
Neaverth worked in Buffalo broadcasting for over 50 years and is a Western New York legend, recognizable to several generations of people. He is a member of the Buffalo Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame, the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
