ERIE COUNTY, NY – Today, Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz issued the following statement after receiving the endorsement of the Working Families Party:
“I’m honored to accept the endorsement of the Working Families Party for my reelection as Erie County Executive. The Party and I have always been aligned with issues affecting hardworking men and women. As the son of a steelworker and a nurse, I understand that all work has dignity and that workers are the backbone of our community. As County Executive, I have continued the fight for fair treatment for workers, just and equitable labor policies and increased opportunities for all individuals. I’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with the Working Families Party in the past and I’m proud to do so today and in the future to build a stronger Erie County.”
