Buffalo, NY (WBEN)- As if the issues effecting Erie County residents weren’t enough to debate, the two campaigns for Erie County Executive are at odds over an appropriate number of debates between incumbant Republican Chris Collins and his Democrat challenger Mark Poloncarz.
Collins’ camp agreed to two debates today, one October 13th at the Channel 17 studios, and one October 20th at St Joseph Collegiate Institute. The Poloncarz camp was looking for at least one more debate at the WIVB-TV studios before Election Day.
Collins is in the final months of his first term as County Executive, Mark Poloncarz is serving in his second term as Erie County Comptroller.
